Originally Designed for Marine & Storage
The shrink wraps used in New Zealand were developed for boats, vehicle transport, and storage applications before the industry here repurposed them for use in construction environments. Wrapping a small boat for one Winter season is vastly different to the project requirements of wrapping a construction scaffold in NZ or Australia.
Outdated Technology
Originally developed more than 30 years ago,the shrink wrap used in construction today was developed in a different era, with different climate and global weather conditions. They are adequate for construction but no longer reflect best practice.
Overpriced
The purchase price of these products is greater than that of the designed for purpose products that Safe Seal Wrap offers. Additionally, the cost is often much greater than Safe Seal, as these products may require more frequent replacement on longer-duration projects or in demanding environments due to their short UV rating.
Recyclable
